Sabhi ko Namaskar,
Through my study at Te Herenga Waka Victoria University of Wellington (NZ), I am conducting a research project that explores information sharing in alignment with Indo-Fijian Hindu funerals. This is a requirement of the Master of Information Studies.
Who am I?
My name is Deepika Gosai, and I have been fascinated with both Indo-Fijian Hindu funerals and the digitization of information. Indo-Fijian Hindu funerals have not been academically documented, which makes this a pilot study.
How can you help?
At the bottom of this post there are two links to the surveys. There is a survey for pandits, and one for the general public. The survey will take between 15 and 20 minutes to complete. Please complete one survey only. The candidates sought for this survey are either pandits based in Aotearoa, or Indo-Fijian Hindus who are based in Aotearoa.
Research Outcomes
All collated data will be analyzed, before being presented in the final research output. Survey participants remain anonymous. A link to the final research output will be posted once it is available.
